2- Keyboard

There are three main types of keyboards according to how their keys work: magnetic, membrane, and mechanical.


- Magnetic keyboard:

This type uses magnetic switches or sensors under each key. When you press a key, the magnetic field changes and the system detects the keypress. These keyboards are very durable and precise, often used in industrial or specialized environments where reliability is essential.


- Membrane keyboard:

This is the most common and affordable type. It has three thin layers: two conductive membranes and a spacer in between. When you press a key, the top layer touches the bottom layer, completing an electrical circuit. They are quiet, lightweight, and cheap, but the keys can feel less responsive because there’s no physical switch beneath them.


- Mechanical keyboard:

Each key has its own mechanical switch made of several moving parts, including a spring. This makes typing more accurate, responsive, and tactile. Mechanical keyboards are often preferred by gamers and typists because of their satisfying click sound and long lifespan, though they can be noisy and more expensive.
